Basics: Control what you share

You decide when you want to share stories you've read and who can see your social activity.

Stop sharing your MSN Social Activity

To read a story, and not share it with your Facebook friends, turn sharing off before you go to the story.

In the Social Activity module, set Do you want to share what you’re reading? to No.

Note
The Social Activity module isn’t available on every page. Before you go to a story that you don't want to share, go to the MSN Living Style page and make sure you aren't sharing.

In the Social Activity module on MSN, Facebook friends who opt in to this app see stories you read.

To change who sees your MSN Social Activity on your Facebook Wall or Timeline, edit Facebook App Settings:

On Facebook, go to your App Settings.
Next to the MSN app, click Edit.
On the App activity privacy menu, choose who can see your posts and activity.
