MSN Explorer: Import address book contacts

You can import contacts from other address books so that you can use that contact information in MSN.

Import contacts from Microsoft Outlook

  1. Import your Outlook address book into Outlook Express. For more information, see help in Outlook Express.

  2. Click the Help & Settings menu, and then click Settings.

  3. In the left pane, click E-mail.

  4. Click Import or export e-mail, copy e-mail, or import contacts.

  5. Click Import e-mail and contacts.

  6. Follow the on-screen instructions.

Import contacts from Microsoft Outlook Express

  1. Click the Help & Settings menu, and then click Settings.

  2. In the left pane, click E-mail.

  3. Click Import or export e-mail, copy e-mail, or import contacts.

  4. Click Import e-mail and contacts.

  5. Follow the on-screen instructions.

noteNote
If you import a contact that already exists in your MSN address book, the imported contact is listed separately with a new Quickname composed of the original Quickname followed by a number.
