Microsoft Office 365 for enterprises is a set of cloud-based services, delivered through multiple data centers worldwide. The services are provided through many IP addresses and URLs, listed in this topic.

Delivering cloud-based services requires scalable, dynamic solutions that are accessible from anywhere. With these requirements in mind, Microsoft will continue to use new and alternative methods to deliver cloud-based services. To benefit from these changes, we strongly recommend that you enable routing to the root domain names listed in the following tables (such as *.Outlook.com, *.MicrosoftOnline.com and *.SharePoint.com) instead of routing to specific IP address subnets. Relying on IP address subnets runs the risk of outages for your users as changes are made.
