MSN Explorer: Configure Microsoft Outlook to use Outlook Hotmail Connector

To set up Microsoft Outlook to send and receive MSN email messages from your MSN account and access your MSN calendar and contacts:

  1. Download the Microsoft Outlook Hotmail Connector installer and save it to your hard disk.

    1. Click Start, and then click Run.

    2. Type appwiz.cpl, and then press ENTER.

    3. In the list of programs, click MSN.

    4. Click Change/Remove.

    5. Select Install additional features, and then click Next.

    6. Follow the on-screen instructions.

  2. Close Microsoft Outlook.

  3. Open the Microsoft Outlook Hotmail Connector installer, and then follow the on-screen instructions.

  4. When Microsoft Outlook Hotmail Connector is installed, open Microsoft Outlook.

  5. When prompted, type your MSN email address and password.

  6. Click Sign In.
