About Bing Bar

Bing Bar is a free toolbar that you can use with Windows Internet Explorer. Bing Bar gives you a quick, convenient way to check your email, weather forecasts, traffic reports, road maps, and Facebook. The new version of Bing Bar has new capabilities.

New features

  • Get quick access to breaking news, headlines, and content from Bing News, weather conditions and forecasts for multiple cities around the world, check your Outlook.com inbox, stay up to date with your friends on Facebook, and more—without leaving the web page you’re on.

System requirements

  • Windows 7 or later; Windows Vista; Windows XP with Service Pack 3

  • Internet Explorer 7 or later

  • 100 MB of free hard disk space

  • If you're on Windows 8, go to the desktop to use Bing Bar.

  • After installation, Bing Bar appears at the top of each Internet Explorer window when you browse the web.
