Authorize Agents to Access the Gateway

During System Center Advisor gateway installation, if you selected the option to restrict connections to your gateway, you have to manually add your agents’ computer accounts to the Allowed Advisor Agents local group on the computer where the gateway is installed.

To add agents to the Allowed Advisor Agents local group

  1. On the computer where you installed the gateway, open Computer Management.

  2. Click Groups.

  3. Right-click Allowed Advisor Agents, and then click Add to Group.

  4. In the Allowed Advisor Agents property window, click Add.

  5. Click Object Types.

  6. Select Computers, and then click OK.

  7. Under Enter the object names to select, type the name of the computer or computers where your agents are installed, and then click OK.

  8. Click Apply.
