Gateway Event Messages

Events generated by the gateway are logged to the Application and Services Logs ->Advisor Gateway. You can use the information in the following table to diagnose what issues generated the events.

11000

Information

The gateway started successfully.

11001

Information

The gateway was shut down.

11002

Error

The gateway attempted to upload data to the service but was unsuccessful.

This can happen for a variety of reasons, including an expired registration certificate. To address the issue, reconfigure the gateway by using the configuration wizard. If you receive errors, see the configuration log file for more information.

Also check https connectivity to a different secure Web site. Make sure that your firewall permits access through port 443.

11003

Error

The gateway attempted to obtain updates from the service but was unsuccessful.

This can happen for a variety of reasons, including an expired registration certificate. To address the issue, reconfigure the gateway by using the configuration wizard. If you receive errors, see the configuration log file for more information.

11004

Information

The gateway successfully registered with the service.

11005

Error

The gateway attempted to register with the service but was unsuccessful.

Use the configuration wizard to try to register the gateway. If you receive errors, see the configuration log file for more information.

11006

Information

The gateway successfully unregistered with the service.

11007

Warning

The gateway attempted to unregister with the service but was unsuccessful.

11008

Information

The gateway successfully renewed its certificate to upload data to the service.

11010

Error

The upload frequency for the gateway is set to weekly, but the day of the week is not configured. No content will be uploaded until you set the day of the week.

Change the upload frequency setting for the gateway. See Use Registry Keys to Configure System Center Advisor for more information.

11011

Information

The log files for the gateway exceeded the maximum allowed value. The gateway has deleted the oldest log files to return the log folder size to within limits.

11019

Error

The specified agent tried to communicate with the gateway but was not authorized.
