My MSN: Add content to My MSN

You can customize your My MSN pages to show only the content that you want to see. You can browse a list of available modules, or use a search box to find the content that you want.

  1. Sign in to the My MSN website with your Windows Live ID.

    - or -

    Open the My MSN website without signing in. If you use My MSN without signing in, your customized changes will be stored on your computer in a cookie, so that the same modules will appear the next time you visit My MSN on the same computer. If you delete your cookies, your customized changes will be lost.

  2. At the top of the page, click the tab for the page that you want to change.

  3. In the upper-right corner, click Add content.

  4. Do one of the following:

    Browse for content

    1. In the left pane, click a tab to see modules available in that category.

    2. In the box for the module that you want to add, click Add.

    Search for content

    1. In the Search Gallery Content box, type a word that describes the content you're looking for (such as “sports” or “weather”), and then click Search.

    2. In the box for the module that you want to add, click Add.

  5. Click Back to My Page.

  • The section headed MSN Recommends contains rich modules that can be customized, and editorially controlled content from MSN and its partners. Content in the section headed Syndicated content from the Web is third-party content from other providers.

  • Modules are added to the upper-left corner of the page.

  • To remove a module, on your My MSN page, at the top of the module, click the close icon Close.
