My MSN: Find weather reports

With the Weather module, you can display four-day weather forecasts for up to ten different areas.

  1. Sign in to the My MSN website with your Windows Live ID.

    - or -

    Open the My MSN website without signing in. If you use My MSN without signing in, your customized changes will be stored on your computer in a cookie, so that the same modules will appear the next time you visit My MSN on the same computer. If you delete your cookies, your customized changes will be lost.

  2. If you haven't already done so, add the Weather module.

    1. At the top of the page, click the tab for the page that you want to change.

    2. In the upper-right corner, click Add content.

    3. In the Search Gallery Content box, type Weather, and then click Search.

    4. Under MSN Recommends, in the Weather box, click Add.

    5. Click Back to My Page.

  3. By default, the Weather module displays a weather forecast for the local area included in your Windows Live ID. You can do any of the following:

    Add a weather forecast for another area

    1. At the top of the module, click Menu, and then click Change Details.

    2. In the lower of the two boxes, type the city, state, or ZIP code that you want, and then click Add.

      If more than one location is found with the name that you type, select the location that you want from the list.

    Remove a weather forecast

    1. Point to the weather forecast that you want to remove, and then click the close icon Close.

    Change the order of your weather forecasts

    1. In the Weather module, point to the weather forecast that you want to move, and then click the up or down arrow icon.

    Change how temperatures are displayed

    1. At the top of the module, click Menu, and then click Change Details.

    2. In the upper of the two boxes, click the temperature scale that you want to use, and then click Close.
