ninemsn Explorer: Block images and message previews

To help protect you from potentially inappropriate or offensive images and content in junk e-mail, ninemsn Mail blocks some images and message previews. By default, ninemsn Mail blocks messages from appearing in the preview pane if they're from unknown senders and contain words or images you or your family may find inappropriate.

View images from a specific sender

You can have ninemsn Mail display images only from people who are in your address book or on your safe list.

To add an e-mail address to your safe list so that you can always view images from the sender, click Always show images from this sender.

Unblock message previews

  1. Click the Help & Settings menu, and then click Settings.

  2. In the left pane, click E-mail.

  3. Click E-mail options.

  4. Clear the Don't display potentially offensive content in the preview pane check box.

  5. Click Save Changes.

  • To avoid seeing messages from any potential junk e-mail senders in your Inbox, set the junk e-mail filter level to Exclusive.

  • Some junk e-mail filter settings work on the computer where you applied the settings. To have the same e-mail experience on other computers, change the junk e-mail filter settings on those computers.
